The chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (NMP) Devlet Bakhchali rejected the meeting request of the chairman of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem Imamoghlu.

Axar.az reports that Bakhchali said this in a statement to journalists after the group meeting.

"I don't know why they want a meeting. Since I don't like Ekrem Imamoghlu's policy, I don't think it's appropriate to meet him. Because they may want to involve NMP in some work from this meeting. We should be more careful with the abuses and misinterpretations in Turkiye," he said.
