Iran will send a team of experts to Qatar to discuss the construction of a transportation tunnel under the Persian Gulf.

Axar.az reports that Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref shared this information during his meeting with Qatar’s Ambassador to Iran, Saad bin Abdullah Al-Mohammed Al-Sharif.

"Both countries aspire to realize this major project, and Iran has already formed a group of experts for preliminary studies who will be sent to Doha for negotiations in the coming weeks," Aref stated.
