Iran is ready to expand relations with Armenia as much as possible in all areas of interest to both countries.

Axar.az reports with reference to the Armenian media that Iranian Foreign Minister Seyid Abbas Arakchi said this during a telephone conversation with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.

It was reported that during the conversation, the Armenian minister noted the importance of continuing consultations between Yerevan and Tehran regarding regional events.

Mirzoyan invited his Iranian colleague to visit Armenia.
