The Lebanese government is doing everything to stop Israeli aggression and achieve the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which will restore stability on the border.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the statement of the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, published in X after the killing of three soldiers of the Lebanese army as a result of an Israeli anti-aircraft missile strike.

It is reported that Mikati contacted the army commander Joseph Aun and through him expressed his condolences to the relatives of the fallen soldiers. The head of the government noted that since the beginning of the military escalation in the south of the country in October 2023, the Lebanese forces have lost 36 soldiers and officers.
