A group of UN peacekeepers in Lebanon came under fire while patrolling the village of Bedias.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the UN forces in the region released information about this.

"Yesterday at noon, a UN patrol consisting of French and Finnish peacekeepers encountered a group of people in the village of Bedias. They did not obey the peacekeepers' order to stop," the report said.

It was emphasized that about forty shots were fired at the peacekeepers.
