The Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the President of the Spanish football club "Barcelona" Juan Laporta.

Axar.az reports that the importance of J. Laporta's participation in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - COP29 held in Baku was emphasized.

They exchanged views on the development of Azerbaijani football, implemented joint projects with one of the world's leading football clubs, "Barcelona", and discussed other issues of mutual interest.

Rovshan Najaf, president of the Association of Azerbaijan Football Federations, took part in the meeting.
