This week, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Bonnie Jenkins is in Azerbaijan for COP29. Despite a heavy schedule of meetings, she was able to take a quick side trip to Baku’s Old City to see the country’s rich culture and historical architecture up close. She also tried some delicious Azerbaijani food, including local honey and tandir with pandir (traditional bread with cheese).
