Axar.az reports that this statement was made by the renowned Turkish expert Fatih Terim at the opening event of the Football Clubs Climate Alliance during COP29.

Terim mentioned that he had the opportunity to speak with Qarabağ’s head coach, Gurban Gurbanov.

He emphasized his special respect for the club’s head coach, saying:

"I believe that more clubs will join the Football Clubs Climate Alliance. COP29 has been organized at a high level in Baku. I have always come to Azerbaijan as a brother, and I have been treated with great respect. I sincerely thank Azerbaijan and its people for their attention."
