On November 15, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Jakob Mudenda, visited Azerbaijan to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
Axar.az reports that the guests were welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by MPs Mahir Suleymanli, Shahin Ismayilov and other officials.
It should be noted that within the framework of COP29, a Parliamentary Meeting will be held in Baku on November 16-17, jointly organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Milli Majlis. 92 delegations from 66 countries and international organizations, up to 330 participants, 167 members of parliament, including 12 speakers and vice-speakers, are expected to participate in the meeting.
