A court in Pakistan granted bail to former Prime Minister Imran Khan in a case where he is accused of hiding his income he made by selling state gifts when he was in power on Wednesday.

Axar.az reports that citing foreign media after hours long hearing, the court granted the bail plea, ordering Imran Khan’s release against surety bonds of Rs1 million.

However, Imran Khan faces several other cases and may not be released immediately. The order, nonetheless, comes a major victory and morale booster for PTI (Pakistan Movement for Justice) supporters who are preparing to launch a massive protest on November 24.
