The First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, General-Colonel Kerim Valiyev, has met with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.

Axar.az reports that according to The Ministry of Defense’s Press Service.

It was reported that during Kerim Valiyev's visit to Pakistan to participate in the 12th International Defense Exhibition and Seminar "IDEAS 2024," the current state of military relations between the two countries, which are based on friendship and brotherhood, was discussed. The new perspectives for joint cooperation were also explored, and it was emphasized that the strategic partnership is developing on an upward trajectory.

According to the information, the parties highlighted the importance of such meetings in strengthening bilateral relations and exchanged detailed views on several other matters of interest.
