Georgian President joins protest in Tbilisi

President Salome Zurabishvili joins mass protests in Tbilisi.

Axar.az reports that President Zurabishvili stood in front of the special forces deployed in the area and addressed them.

"Are you serving Russia or Georgia? Who did you swear your oath to? I am curious about your answer. You are not answering to your president," Zurabishvili said.

She called on them to think about the future of their children.

However, the special forces did not respond to the president.

Zurabishvili left the area accompanied by several security officers, protesters, and journalists.

Georgian media has called this moment historic, as there has been no precedent for a president standing between special forces and demonstrators.
