Iran's consulate in Aleppo has come under attack by armed groups.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by Esmail Baghaei, the official representative of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Baghaei strongly condemned the attack on Iran's consulate in Aleppo:

'Iran will respond to this attack both legally and at the international level.'

It should be noted that the city of Aleppo has been taken over by the 'Tahrir al-Sham' group.
