Zelensky rejects Biden's call to lower mobilization age

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected U.S. President Joe Biden's proposal to lower the mobilization age to 18.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky mentioned this during an interview with Sky News.

"Ukraine has requested equipment for 10 military brigades, but Western partners have fully outfitted only two and a half brigades. European or American officials have ideas about mobilization age, I want to ask our partners to do their job, and we will do ours.” Zelenskyy said.

It is worth noting that three days ago, Associated Press and Reuters reported that the Biden administration had urged Kyiv to lower the mobilization age from 25 to 18 to rapidly increase the size of its military.
