The acting President of the Republic of Korea, Deputy Prime Minister Choi San Mok, has declared a 7-day national mourning period in connection with the plane crash in Muanda.

Axar.az reports according to Yonhap agency, the mourning period will begin today and last until midnight Saturday.

"Choi San Mok declared a national mourning period in relation to the plane crash on Sunday, which resulted in at least 179 deaths. Two people are still considered missing," his office stated.
