Israeli gunfire kills at least 15 people in south Lebanon

At least 15 Lebanese were killed and 83 others injured by Israeli gunfire in southern Lebanon on Sunday.

Axar.az reports that according to Lebanon's Ministry of Health, fatalities occurred when Israeli forces opened fire on people trying to return to their areas in southern Lebanon following the expiration of a 60-day ceasefire agreement.

"Enemy snipers conducted fire at civilians who were trying to return to their homes.Among the dead is a Lebanese army soldier who was escorting the returning refugees,” the statement read.
