The decision of the Council of the European Union to suspend the visa-free regime for diplomatic passport holders of Georgia is a technical issue of a symbolic nature.

Axar.az reports that Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said these words in his statement to journalists.

According to him, the most important thing for the Georgian authorities is that there is no threat to peace in the country and trips to Europe with diplomatic passports are just a technical matter.

"We can go to the European Union with or without a visa, it doesn't matter. The only important thing is that we should continue to protect the peace in our country and the fundamental interests of our people," I. Kobakhidze emphasized.
