The Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt has been reopened for the evacuation of sick and injured people after 8 months.

Axar.az reports that Turkish media shared this information.

It was reported that, as part of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in Gaza, emergency ambulances carrying 50 injured and sick Palestinian children crossed from the Rafah border crossing into Egypt today.

According to information from an Israeli army radio, only Gaza residents will be allowed to pass through the Rafah crossing, which was opened as part of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement. Restrictions have been imposed on entry into Gaza.
