On January 30, the Armenian National Security Service investigated footage showing a group of Iranian citizens, specifically South Azerbaijanis, performing the song "Karabakh" in Republic Square in Yerevan.

Axar.az informs that this information was reported by Armenian media.

It was stated that, as a result of the "complex operational-intelligence measures" carried out by the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, it was revealed that the video, which went viral and caused widespread resonance, was published by the head of the "Independent Strategic Research Center." The report highlighted that the NGO leader had made public posts and calls via Facebook using the G.B. account to incite hatred and intolerance.

"Based on the factual data obtained through complex operational-search activities," it was confirmed that the actions fell under Article 329, Section 2, Clause 3 of the Armenian Criminal Code. As a result, a protocol was drawn up and sent to the Armenian Investigation Committee for the opening of a criminal case.

It is worth noting that the footage of South Azerbaijanis performing the song "Karabakh" in the central square of Yerevan caused panic in Armenian media and social networks.
