Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, who was killed in an Israeli strike on Beirut on September 27 of last year, will be buried on February 23.
Axar.az informs that this information was reported by Lebanon's "Al-Jadid" TV channel, citing sources from the Shia community.
The report stated that an official announcement regarding the burial of Nasrallah and his close comrade, the head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, Hashim Safieddine (who was killed on October 3 in an Israeli airstrike on southern Beirut) will be made within the next 48 hours.
The burial will take place near the monument of Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of the IRGC, at the mausoleum on Mustashariya Street.
Previously, Nasrallah had been temporarily buried in a secret location and would remain there until the appropriate conditions were met for an official burial ceremony with public participation.
It was decided that Nasrallah's burial would take place before the beginning of the month of Ramadan.
