The Syrian people have the will to determine their destiny.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made these remarks in a statement to the media after he met with the President of the Syrian interim government, Ahmed al-Sharaa.

"A new page has been opened in Syria. There is no place for terrorism in this country. As Turkiye, we did not leave our Syrian brothers alone on the most difficult days, and we will provide them with the necessary support in the new period. We also informed our valuable brother about this. We believe that mutual visits and contacts will take place soon," Erdogan said.
