Hamas rejected the U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent statement regarding Gaza as racist, calling it a blatant attempt to ignore the Palestinian cause and deny their national rights.

Axar.az reports that his was stated by Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri.

"We consider it a recipe for creating chaos and tension in the region. Our people in the Gaza Strip will not allow these plans to pass. What is required is an end to the occupation and aggression against our people, not their expulsion from their land," Zuhri stated.

It should be noted that Donald Trump proposed the relocation of Gaza’s residents to Egypt and Jordan. He also stated that the U.S. government would deploy troops to Gaza if necessary.
