Macron and Pashinyan discuss cooperation and peace

French President Emmanuel Macron received Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the Elysee Palace.

Axar.az reports that during the meeting, the leaders of Armenia and France discussed several issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation, including the prospects for implementing joint programs in the economy, infrastructure, road construction, energy, education, tourism, and other areas.

They exchanged views on the peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, developments in the border demarcation process, as well as the unblocking of regional communication routes within the framework of the "Peace Crossroads" project. Nikol Pashinyan stressed the Armenian government's commitment to the peace agenda.

The parties also discussed the prospects for further development of Armenia-EU cooperation.
