President Volodymyr Zelensky met with President of the European Investment Bank Nadia Calvino, who visited Ukraine for the first time.

The Head of State expressed gratitude to the EIB for its support of the Ukrainian people since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. The total amount of assistance provided has already exceeded €2 billion.

"This is significant support, and we look forward to continuing our partnership. I know there is a decision to invest an additional €2 billion this year in projects in Ukraine, which we can count on," the President said.

I met with the President of the European Investment Bank @NadiaCalvino, and welcomed her first visit to Ukraine. I’m grateful for the EIB’s continued support since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
