Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with American leader Donald Trump.

Axar.az reports that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this at a briefing.

"President Putin and US President Donald Trump have just finished their telephone conversation. It was a very long telephone conversation, it lasted almost an hour and a half," Peskov said.

Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump agreed during the telephone conversation to continue personal contact and to organize a personal meeting.

It should be noted that Trump had previously announced that he had had a telephone conversation with Putin, but Peskov did not confirm or deny this information.
