Turkiye considers it very important for the tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan to be resolved quickly and for lasting peace to be established.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Turkiye’s Minister of Transport, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, in his remarks regarding the Zangezur corridor.

"Armenia and Azerbaijan are discussing this route. Iran is also one of the alternatives. In any case, this corridor will pass through some territory. Whether it passes through Armenia or Iran, our Azerbaijani brothers are closely monitoring the process. We are also following the process," Uraloglu stated.
