The closure of the Russian House in Baku will be beneficial for a third party.
Axar.az reports that this was stated by Irek Zinnurov, the head of the Russian House in Baku, in an interview with RT.
"This story is sad for both Azerbaijan and Russia. Meanwhile, a third party is sitting on the sidelines, rubbing their hands together, and rejoicing at this... This third party is taking advantage of the situation and seems to be trying to add as much fuel to the fire as possible," said Irek Zinnurov.
Zinnurov also highlighted that events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War were planned for 2025.
"This year, an olympiad was supposed to take place dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, our shared victory, which we celebrate in all CIS countries. We emphasized Azerbaijan's contribution to this victory. Everything was agreed upon, and now everything has collapsed," said Zinnurov.
Notably, on February 11, the Russian House in Baku has suspended its operations.
