As previously reported, one of the six prisoners released under the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel in Gaza, Ömer Shim-Tov, kissing a Palestinian soldier on the forehead drew significant attention.

Axar.az reports that according to Turkish media investigations, Tov’s family emigrated from Turkey and Morocco to settle in Palestinian territories occupied by Israel.

"My grandparents were from Morocco and Turkiye. They came to the Palestinian territories, but I don’t know why they came. I believe everyone should return to their homeland," Shim-Tov said.
