Starmer tells Zelensky: We stand with Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Axar.az reports that citing Telegraph, Sir Keir Starmer told Volodymyr Zelensky he had “full backing across the United Kingdom and we stand with Ukraine for as long as it may take” as the pair met at Downing Street today.

Sir Keir and Mr Zelensky shared a hug as they met outside No 10.

Mr Zelensky, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt featuring the coat of arms of Ukraine and black cargo trousers, told Sir Keir “we count on your support” and said he was thankful to the UK.

He is expected to be received by King Charles III tomorrow.
