Ronaldo out of Al-Nasr's Champions League match

Al-Nasr's 40-year-old Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, will miss the first leg of the Asian Champions League round of 16 against Istiklal.

Axar.az reports that the Saudi club has announced the squad list. Ronaldo is not on the list.

It was previously reported that Al-Nasr had asked the Iranian club to hold the match in neutral territory to ensure Ronaldo's safety, but Istiklal refused.

The game will be held in Iran on March 3.
