The letter of the Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the UN Secretary-General on the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide has been published as an official document of the UN General Assembly and Security Council.

Axar.az reports that the Permanent Representation of Azerbaijan to the UN published information about this on the X social network.

It was noted that the crimes committed in Khojaly were not accidental, but, on the contrary, were part of a broad, systematic policy implemented based on ethnic and religious hatred and intolerance:

"Responsibility for grave crimes is absolute and inevitable. Azerbaijan will never forget the atrocities committed against the people."
