Istanbul's Taksim metro station closed for security reasons

The "Taksim" metro station in Istanbul has been closed until further notice.

Axar.az reports according to the Istanbul Governorate, this decision was made for security reasons.

Additionally, it was announced that all meetings, protests, and media statements are banned for four days, from March 19 to 23, to prevent provocative actions.

It was also noted that these measures were taken for safety concerns.

It is worth mentioning that an operation has been carried out at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
