Senior leaders from Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) met with officials from Yemen's Houthi rebels last week to discuss coordinating actions against Israel.
Axar.az, citing Times of Israel, reports that the talks, held in Lebanon, focused on expanding confrontations and encircling Israel.
The Houthis, who have been targeting Israeli-linked vessels in the Red Sea in solidarity with Palestinians, plan to continue their attacks. The groups also discussed potential Israeli ground assaults in Gaza and the role of the Houthis in supporting Palestinian factions.
The US and Britain have responded with military strikes against the Houthis, while Iran's involvement in supporting the Houthis and Hamas has been acknowledged.
