Former CHP chairman Asli Baykal, daughter of the late Deniz Baykal, harshly criticized the current party chairman, Ozgur Ozel, for complaining about Turkiye in an interview with a foreign news agency.

Axar.az reports that Asli Baykal shared this on her social media account.

“The main opposition will go to various gates of the world and complain about Turkiye, which is on its way to having a say in the world. Is there another example of this? Will they complain, saying, “We stole, they exposed us, and punished us”? Or will they say, “Our diploma is fake, they did not accept it, you speak, let them accept it”? They considered themselves kings, If they took power into their hands, we watched what they would do like a movie trailer - hatred, anger, everything was in that fragment. It was difficult, but we turned back from the brink of danger,” the post noted.
