The US will not be able to buy the island.

Axar.az reports that this was the response of the new Prime Minister of Greenland, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, to Trump's statements on the annexation of the island:

"Trump said that the US will 'buy Greenland". I will be clear: the US will not be able to buy the island. We do not belong to others. We decide our future. It was like this yesterday, it is like this today, and it will be like this in the future".

According to him, the people of Greenland should not be afraid of Trump's statements and should respond to him calmly, with dignity and unity.

It should be noted that previously, US President Donald Trump had stated that he was 100 percent sure that he would buy the island.
