Moscow is categorically against the deployment of Western peacekeepers in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, at a briefing today.

According to her, the deployment of Western peacekeepers in Ukraine could lead to a direct clash between Russia and NATO.

London and Paris continue to implement plans for military intervention in Ukraine. All this is disguised as a kind of peacekeeping mission. The deployment of NATO troops in Ukraine as part of a peacekeeping operation could result in a direct clash with Russia. Moscow is categorically against such a scenario," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson noted.
