Recently, a large group of Americans, including employees of the US military department and military personnel, arrived in Armenia.

Axar.az reports that the Armenian publication "Hraparak" published information about this, citing a source in the Ministry of Defense.

According to the source, the purpose of the visit is to work on joint programs on Armenian-American military cooperation. The source did not disclose which programs were discussed.

The publication appealed to the Ministry of Defense to clarify the information. The Armenian Ministry of Defense said that we constantly provide information on international cooperation: "We cannot provide additional information on this."

It should be noted that earlier, it was reported that the United States would transfer more than 150 military equipment and soldiers from Germany to Armenia under the pretext of training. Some media outlets reported that this military equipment and manpower would remain in Armenia until September and be used in a possible operation against Iran.
