The administration of US President Donald Trump has suspended new student visa interviews.

Axar.az reports that this is due to the requirement for mandatory verification of applicants' social media accounts.

According to reports, the Trump administration plans to require all international students applying to study in the United States to undergo a social media check.

It is reported that the introduction of such a procedure could seriously slow down the process of issuing student visas.
