Group of 29 Italians who left Iran arrived in Azerbaijan

Twenty-nine Italian citizens left Iran by land and arrived in Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that Italy’s Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani provided this information.

The minister noted that significant efforts were made in this process and thanked the Italian embassies in Tehran and Baku, as well as the Farnesina Crisis Unit under the Italian Foreign Ministry.

Antonio Tajani stated that efforts continue to ensure the safety of Italian citizens living in the region: “They will never be deprived of the full support of the Italian state.”
