U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that U.S. forces carried out a successful airstrike on three nuclear sites in Iran, including the Fordo facility, declaring, “Fordo is gone.”

Axar.az, citing Reuters, reports that the operation involved B-2 bombers, and all aircraft returned safely, according to Trump.

It is not yet confirmed whether Israeli forces were part of this specific strike. The bombing marks a significant escalation in the ongoing Iran–Israel conflict, which has already caused casualties on both sides.

Trump called for peace following the strike, while Iran maintains that its nuclear program is peaceful. Diplomatic efforts by Western nations to halt the hostilities have so far failed.
