US President Donald Trump's statements regarding the supply of American weapons to Ukraine and the introduction of additional anti-Russian restrictions will cause a reaction from the Russian Federation, including President Vladimir Putin.

Axar.az reports that Matthew Whitaker, the US Permanent Representative to NATO, stated this.

"It is clear that he (Putin - ed.) will not only react to the transfer of American weapons to the Ukrainians at the expense of Europe. He will also clearly react to the tariffs imposed on China, India, and other countries that buy oil from him," Whitaker said.

It should be noted that Trump has previously spoken out against Putin.
