US President Donald Trump considers Brazilian Pele the best footballer of all time.

Axar.az reports that he said this in an interview with the DAZN platform.

"When I was young, they invited a player named Pele here. He played for the Cosmos. I came to watch Pele, and it was incredible. I would say Pele was an incredible player," Trump emphasized.

Recall that Pele played for the New York Cosmos from 1975 to 1977.

Trump added that he may sign a decree to change the name "soccer" used in the country to "football".

In most English-speaking countries, the sport of football is referred to as "football". In the United States, the official name of the sport in English is "soccer".
