COVID-19 is no longer as effective as it used to be, but it still exists.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Hande Harmanci, the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan.

She said that COVID is not completely over and will continue to be in our lives in the future: “Therefore, it is necessary to be careful and follow protective measures.”

Hande Harmanci noted that influenza viruses are a part of our lives, and every year, vaccination recommendations are given, especially for people over 65 years of age.
