Turkey expects a consensus to be reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia on the Zangezur corridor issue and believes that the implementation of this project will benefit all countries in the region.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Not only Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Turkiye, but also other countries in the region will benefit from the Zangezur corridor. We consider this direction to be extremely important in terms of geoeconomic dimensions. This line will connect geographical regions outside our region and revive trade. We hope that this will become a symbol of reconciliation rather than a source of discord. I believe that we, as countries in the region, can resolve this issue through consensus," he said.
