Europe should have paid the United States for the weapons it sent to Ukraine three years ago.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by U.S. President Donald Trump.

He noted that Washington had signed an agreement with the European Union, under which Europe would cover 100% of the cost of all military equipment:

“The EU will purchase the weapons, then distribute them, and most of them will go to Ukraine. But they will spend that money on our defense companies here in the U.S. Honestly, this should have happened three years ago,” Trump said.
