The National Assembly has stated a new draft resolution proposed by the Corsican People Support Group in the French National Assembly.

"These days, a new draft resolution has been proposed by pro-Armenian and anti-Azerbaijani elements in the French National Assembly. The identity of the authors of the draft resolution already clearly reveals the essence of the project. This project, which is another attempt to interfere in the processes taking place in our region, distorts the realities as usual, demonstrates open disrespect for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and raises false accusations against our country.

It seems that the progress of the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia, especially after the Abu Dhabi meeting, does not meet the interests of certain forces in any way. They have chosen the line of re-escalating the situation and undermining the peace agenda. This unnecessary attempt to propose a resolution in the French National Assembly at this time is another clear example of this behavior.

On the other hand, we should note that the latest agreements between New Caledonia and France already show that New Caledonia is confidently moving towards the formation of a state. In such a situation, the Baku Initiative, a civil society institution and a non-governmental organization The supports the Group for New Caledonia irritates France. It can be said with certainty that the French side is trying to respond to the activities of the Baku Initiative Group in its style, with that draft resolution.

In general, the essence of such steps - whether the anti-Azerbaijani activities of Valerie Pécres, Anne Hidalgo, or the resolutions adopted against our country in the National Assembly so far - is that France cannot digest being completely left out of the peace agenda in the South Caucasus. For this reason, it is trying to escalate the situation in the region again by using all means. The greatest support for all this is provided by the Armenian lobby and pro-Armenian circles.

A more important point should be emphasized in particular, that in such steps taken against our country, the activity of a single interconnected network is manifested. Separate elements of that network, trying to realize the interests of certain forces, are trying to disrupt the peace agenda in the region by launching various provocations in the Swiss parliament, the French parliament, and the US Congress.

However, they should know that this "Such provocations cannot have the slightest impact on the independent policy pursued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and foreign interference in the processes taking place in the South Caucasus region will not be allowed under any circumstances."
