Donald Trump's administration highly appreciates the dynamic style of state management of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, as well as his strategic vision for a prosperous and productive US-Azerbaijani partnership.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by American political scientist and international relations expert Peter Tase.

According to the expert, Ilham Aliyev is a reliable ally of the United States.

P. Tase noted that this was especially clearly demonstrated during the speech of the Azerbaijani President at the III Shusha Global Media Forum:

"President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that official Baku supports Trump's vision and efforts to strengthen peace and stability in the world, including in the South Caucasus region."

The expert said that the III Shusha Global Media Forum is one of the most prestigious international events where topical issues related to the fight against mass media, disinformation, propaganda, and information wars are discussed:

"Shusha is the historical land of Azerbaijan, the cradle of Azerbaijani culture, and after the Second Karabakh War, it is also the main center for discussing global international processes. The fact that Donald Trump shared part of President Ilham Aliyev's speech at the III Shusha Forum is a significant achievement that shows the similarity in the leadership style and strategic thinking of the two presidents."

The expert also noted that during Donald Trump's tenure, the White House took into account the geopolitical interests of the countries of the region:

"These interests were not taken into account by the Barack Obama and Joseph Biden administrations."
