The fire that broke out in the village of Gulabli in the Aghdam region yesterday has spread to the village of Mirikand in the Khojavend region.

Axar.az reports that 130 personnel from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Aghdam, Aghjabedi, Yevlakh, and Khankendi regions are fighting to extinguish the fire. In addition, 2 helicopters have been deployed to extinguish the fire.

Initially, 80 personnel were deployed in the area, but windy weather made it difficult to extinguish the fire. For this reason, an additional 50 personnel were deployed to extinguish the fire.

In addition, a fire broke out in the village of Hasanriz in the Aghdara region at noon. Firefighting brigades of the MES have also been deployed to the area in question.

According to information obtained from residents, active fire outbreaks that have spread to forest areas have been limited.

Currently, work is underway to completely extinguish the fire.
