The list of individuals responsible for the downing of the AZAL-owned “Embraer 190” passenger aircraft on the Baku–Grozny route on December 25, 2024, has been released.

Axar.az reports that the list was published by “Minval Politiko.”

Those involved in the downing of the aircraft are as follows:

Aleksandr Tolopilo – Major General, Commander of the 51st Air Defense Division, who gave the order to launch the missile.

Nikolay Orlyanski – Lieutenant Colonel, who received the order and relayed it to the crew.

Dmitry Paladichuk – Captain, who immediately executed the order.

In addition, the following individuals from the 51st Air Defense Division and associated military units also played a role:

Captain Dmitry Pudovkin – Senior navigator of the division’s combat control group.

Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Yanovski – Duty operations officer at the Southern Military District headquarters.

Colonel Gennadi Yeremenko – Duty operations officer at the command post of the 4th Guards Air Force and Air Defense Army.

None of the individuals named have been held accountable — on the contrary, some have even been promoted.
