The feature film "44", dedicated to the heroism of the Azerbaijani people during the Patriotic War and aimed at fostering patriotism among the younger generation and preserving historical memory, will soon be presented to the public.
Axar.az informs that the film is a story of heroism and love told through the eyes of a military cadet.
The events depicted in the film reflect the spirit, determination and sacrifice of a generation that rose to defend the homeland, represented by the Special Forces.
The story centers on Special Forces officer Rashad Khalilov, Turkish orthopedic doctor Zeynep Ozdemir, who works in Azerbaijan, and Colonel Ramazan Karimov, commander of a special operations unit.
"44" is not just a war film.
It is the story of the Azerbaijani people, whose hearts beat with love for their homeland, who never lost hope and fought selflessly until the end for the liberation of their lands.
In terms of production scale, the number of specialists involved, filming locations, technical resources used and the level of international cooperation, "44" is one of the largest cinematic projects in Azerbaijan's history.
Alongside Azerbaijani actors, the film also features renowned Turkish actress Ozge Gurel.
Before filming began, the cast underwent military tactical training at the Special Forces training base.
Filming took place in Baku, Absheron, Aghdam, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Goranboy, Ganja, Khojavend, Khizi, Lerik and Shusha.
